Mark your calendars! On Feb. 21, at 1:30 pm, Leslie Szanfranski from HomeInstead will present a program discussing the variety of services that are available to support seniors who wish to stay in their homes but need some help to do so. Weather Announcement: January 26 & 27. Ebook program postponed

In light of the weather forecast, the library will be closing today, Monday, January 26, at 3:00 PM, and will not be open tomorrow Tuesday, January 27.  The library will reopen on Wednesday, January 28.  All due dates will be adjusted to reflect the closure. Everyone be careful out there!

The eBook Workshop that was scheduled for 6:00 today is cancelled, and will be rescheduled for a date in February.

Monday, Jan. 12: First Storytime of 2015!

Join us Monday, January 12, 2015 at 6:30 pm for the first storytime of the new year.  We are going to read stories involving cookie--the best and most fun of desserts.  Milk and cookies will be served, because they are absolutely required when you read about cookies, right?  Please contact the library with questions or if you would like to sign up.  See you Monday!

Monday, Dec. 22 @ 6 PM: Dan Gutman visits SPL!

The author of several popular series for kids, Mr. Gutman will give a talk, sign books and bring some books to sell (just in time for Christmas!). Please register.

Santa came to SPL!

We had a great time with Santa at the library on Friday, December 5.  Thanks to the many kids and parents and Brownies and firefighters that helped us give Santa a warm welcome!

Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 1 pm:  Book Cafe.  Come join our lively group of patrons discussing the books they have enjoyed.  There is no required book--feel free to talk about anything you think was great or interesting or noteworthy and that you think others might appreciate.  Light refreshments are served. Please register.
