We at the Stratford Public Library join in saluting the memories of two comics and humanitarians, people who not only made Americans laugh, but gave them cause to think, as well. Dick Gregory and Jerry Lewis both passed away the same day, Sunday August 20, but their shared legacies of laughter and philanthropy will live forever.
